We believe the wood species is Maple. The metal structure is painted black. The desk top and seat are a light honey color or golden brown. The wood and metal surfaces have lots of wear. The metal has missing paint and rust. The desktop is in really good condition. The seat has some missing finish. See pics for details. A compact kids desk for small spaces. It measures overall " W x " D x " T. The seat and desktop height are adjustable.
