The metal is painted a black (not original and looks as though it was brush painted). The seat and back of the chair are wood and are an orangish brown or pecan color. The desk top is a laminate faux oak natural light wood tone, on top of plywood. There are some imperfections indicative of age and use ie. little dings and chips, scuffs, scratches, marks in the wood and metal finish. The finish is worn on both the seat and metal, which I think add to its character. The item measures as pictured approximately 30 1/2" T x 28 1/2" D x 29 1/2" W. The desktop height is adjustable to add more room from the distance between seat and desk top.There is a storage area underneath that measures 15" W x 16 1/2" D x 10 1/2" T inside. The desktop measures approximately 20 1/2" W on the left it is 16" D and tapers to 12 1/2" D (angled). The seat is 15" W x 14 1/2" D x 16" T (seat to top of backrest). The top of the seat is 16 1/2" from the floor. The desktop will be removed for safe and economical shipping (6 screws to re-assemble). We will provide instructions as well.
