Very beautiful Japanese lacquered wood jewelry box from the 1970's. It is gold lacquered with light gold bamboo and foliage picture on the top. It has a music box that is still functional. It has slight wear, surface scuffs to the finish in some spots (see pics for details. When you open it, it has a gorgeous mirror on the inside cover, black felted interior. The inside is clean and in good vintage used condition. Overall this box is a very nice piece to add to your collection or give to someone special for their keepsakes. The box measures " L x "D x "T. The seller justified sending me a damaged jewelry box for my daughter's birthday. I spent a great deal of time searching for a nice gift and this is not what I expected. The seller refuses to offer a refund or send a new product. The box is scratched on the side and front. It's a terrible way of doing business. I suggest no one buys from this seller. FQ
