This is an amazing piece and the mirror is in truly awesome condition. The pictures do not do this mirror justice. Approximately 1/4" glass, peach and regular mirrored surfaces placed together in 5 pieces to form a rectangle within an oval shape. The corners of the silver mirror are shapely beveled as well as the edges of the peach glass. The peach glass has decorative raised dots. The silver mirror has a pretty picture of two rolling hills and one palm tree surrounded by tall grass and cat tails etched into the the left hand corner. It has very few imperfections that come with its' age. Number one there are tiny black dots throughout. See pics for details. Mostly in the corners. Two, a small imperfection wide u shaped hair line shadow 1/2" in diameter coming from underneath and a tiny chip in one of the peach corners approximately 1/8" D where the two meet at the bottom left. All not noticable at first glance, but note worthy. The wood backing is solid. I would not recommend using the original hanger alone. Although it has been functional and worked for 90 years. The piece entire piece is heavy. The pieces are together by mirror hanger clips. The clips all seem to be present and functional, but they have some discoloration. They could probably use a bit of pressure to them as the pieces naturally have some slight movement I noticed when carried. We are selling this piece as is in its original as found condition.
