Beautiful antique foot stool or foot rest. The frame and legs are made of wood. The top is we believe the original needlepoint. It has a yellow background with a colorful floral center. The legs and frame are in good condition showing wear indicative of age and use, ie. mars dings, scuffs and scrapes. It is structurally sound, but not perfectly symmetrical. The one leg is 1/4" off square. It still sits flat. Not immediately noticable, but noteworthy. (See pics for details)The top embroidery has imperfections throughout due to age, use and storage. There are some snags and a hole 1" x 1/2 inch where the needlepoint has been severed. Please zoom into all pics and contact us if you would like additional photos or information. A beautiful piece to add to your home decor. The foot stool measures 13 1/2" L x 10" D x 11 1/2" T. It will be shipped via USPS.
