Pretty, antique, upholstered rocking chair. The finish is a light brown, almost a honey color and in very good condition. The color of the fabric is a light red almost pink in appearance with gold and silver pin stripes. It is in very good condition as well. It has been refinished and re-upholstered recently. There has been a repair on the lower back right leg and top left hand corner of the head rest. The seat has been modified to sit inside. You can tell where the seat was once nailed to the top of the seat frame which I think just adds to its' rustic feel. Very comfortable and sturdy. Perfect to add a bit of whimsy and color to a child's room, porch, sun or sitting room. It is low to the ground. It measures 15" from floor to seat, 33 1/2" from floor to the top of the back of the rocker and the rocker themselves are "29" L. The seat is 14 3/4" in the back, 17 1/2" in the front and 16 1/2" D.
