Great for travel to pack in the suitcase. The brush is in very good vintage used condition with what looks like hardly any wear. To me it is a longer softer bristle. The bristles are approximately 1" L. The cowhide is in good condition and colored maroon with a nice white top stitch. The zipper is in good condition. On the inside there is a small space for a tube of shoe shine or other accessories. (This case does not come with any accessories). The item measures 6 3/4"L x 2 1/4"W x 2 3/8".
