Vintage Classic Mid Century Modern Industrial Office Chair Desk Chair. Made by HON. The structure of the chair is metal and is tan. The finish on the metal has some imperfections ie scratches/rust on the base and backrest holder. There is a scuff along the bottom back right of the vinyl. The cushion is still soft. The fabric on the seat is a bit faded. It has black plastic/rubber trim on the legs (one of the trim pieces has a crack in the front). The wheels still glide with ease. The fabric on the seat and is a commercial grade woven fabric that is brown and trimmed with brown vinyl. The backrest of the chair is a brown industrial grade vinyl and has a a plastic rim around it that has yellowed/browned with age. O really it is good vintage used condition with wear indicative of age, use and storage. The chair does not go up and down with hydraulics but rather by turning clockwise or counter clockwise while holding the base cup to raise and lower on a large threaded rod. The chair measures overall 15 1/2"W x 34"T x 19"D as pictured. The seat is 21 1/2"T from floor to the top of the seat in the picture, but you can adjust it. The base 17" x 17". The seat itself is 15 1/2"L x 15 1/2"W and the backrest is 14"L x 9"T. A very nice chair and very comfortable. The backrest will be removed for economical shipping with directions for ease of reassembly.
