Bring a piece of history back to life with this beautiful, sturdy 1920s vintage slipper chair frame. This is the ultimate "blank canvas" project piece for an upholstery enthusiast, DIY hobbyist, or interior designer looking for a custom statement piece. The hardest part of the restoration process is already done for you! The original top fabric has been cleanly stripped away, exposing a rock-solid, structurally sound frame with gorgeous original lines. It is an authentic 1920s style slipper/boudoir chair. Made of heavy, high-quality solid maple wood framework. It has four elegant, original round tapered legs with a beautiful natural wood grain. It omes with five buttons. The cotton is clean, the structure is solid, the legs are in great shape and it can be shipped in two pieces due to the ingenious design. There is one bar underneath that is broken. See pics for details. The cotton is in tact except for the top left corner where the fabric caught hold when we were removing it. We have many more pieces/chair frames. If you are in search of something, please let us know. The back width is 26" (measuring at the top from corner to corner). Measuring on the inside following the curve with a fabric tape on top of the cotton is 28". The seat is 25" W x 21" D measuring on top of cotton. The seat is 17" from the ground to top of cotton on the seat. The back is 16" T from the seat to the top of the cotton on the backrest. The back is 31" T from floor to the top of the cotton on the backrest. Overall the chair is 26" D.

Local pick up is also available (pick-up must occur within 30 days from purchase date.)
