A numbered replica of the original statue unveiled in 1889 by Auguste Rodin. His masterful depiction of the embrace of Francesca and Paolo, lovers in Dante’s Inferno. This replica is vintage, made of chalkware, has a bronze finish and black felted bottom. It is a larger heavy piece measuring 7" W x 7" D at the base and stands 12" T. It weighs 6 lbs 8 oz. Pictured in the last picture there is an engraving that states replica and is numbered. It has 6 characters starting with 46.....It's difficult to read the rest. The last number seems to be a 3. The very top of the man's finger is chipped and there is missing finish throughout (see pics for details). It will be shipped via USPS. Combined shipping available.
