The metal is painted a tan. The seat and back of the chair are wood and are a light honey color. The desk top is a laminate faux oak natural light wood tone, on top of plywood. There are some imperfections indicative of age and use ie.; little dings and chips, scuffs, scratches, marks in the wood and metal finish. The finish is worn on both the seat and metal, which I think add to its character. The item measures as pictured approximately 31" T x 28 1/2" D x 22" W. The desktop height is adjustable to add more room from the distance between seat and desk top.There is a storage area underneath that measures 12 3/4" W x 15 1/2" D x 8" T.
