Heywood Wakefield kids desk. Perfect for school age pre-teen, teens and young adults. The seat and desk top are solid wood stained a honey color. The desk has been spray painted a shimmery blue. Underneath in spots you can see the original factory tan paint. The finish is worn on all of the surfaces. We believe they add to the character of these little special pieces or perfect candidates for a DIY paint project if the color if your choosing! The finish to the seat and desk top have blemishes indicative of age and use ie scratches and scuffs. The metal in front of the desk has 4 quarter sized dings as pictured. The item measures overall 25 1/2" W x 32 1/2" D x 31 1/2" T . The desk top opens on hinges to allow the top of the desk to open up but it does not stay up without being held. It has a kickstand underneath the lid to the desktop to alow for a horizontal/flat writing surface. It cannot be completely disassembled for shipping. The top and chair seat and backrest will be unscrewed for safe and economical shipping with instructions for re-assembly.
