Fantastic vintage metal adjustable desk. Perfect for young adults and school age children. Classic lines, design and details of the Mid Century Atomic Era. It tapers from front to back and has three lines formed in the metal on the sides and front of the body of the desk. There is a book nook inside under the writing desk top. It has plenty of room for books and papers. The attractive faux oak light colored laminate top provides an excellent and roomy work area. There is a repair to the laminate in the top left corner of the desk top. The desk top lifts to gain access to the book nook compartment. The legs are tapered round pencil legs tan at the top sleeve attached to the desk and chrome plated at the bottom half that slides up and down in order to adjust the height. The finish has wear on both the laminate and metal surfaces indicative of age, use and storage (see photos for details). It can be adjusted up or down by loosening the small screws at the protruding stems on each leg to any desired height. The desk measures overall 24" W x 18" D x 28" T (as pictured). The inside of the book nook is 21 1/2" W x 15 3/4" D x 4 3/4" T. The legs have indents on the legs 1" apart to adjust the height. The lowest setting is 23" T from the floor the top of the desk. The highest setting is 30" T from the floor to the top of the desk. This item will be shipped via USPS. Thank you for shopping at our store!
