This vintage Singer sewing machine and expandable fold out sewing cabinet shaped like a trapezoid is an amazing piece. The cabinet is made of wood and veneer. Stained a redish brown. It has long pretty pencil legs that provide great support for this heavy little machine. When you open it from the front the panel swings open to the right allowing you to pull the table's left side support and front left leg out to the side. The top flips out and sits on the moveable leg giving sturdy support and lots of leg room. The shape of the top wraps around you when its open. A comfortable, functional and stylish design. The perfect addition for your MidCentury sewing room! The cabinet has dings, mars and a lot of imperfections/uneveness to it's finish and a previous repair to the top where the sewing machine is brought out. A strong bond and still structurally sound. A belated review for the vintage Singer sewing machine cabinet I purchased earlier this Summer. I had been searching for one of these hard-to-find and wonderfully designed Singer Trapezoid tables, and my patience was rewarded - had not expected to find it on etsy! Seller was willing to let the cabinet go without the sewing machine, and I feel we settled on a fair price. Cabinet was shipped in good time, and was quite clean and in better condition than expected (seller described all flaws in listing). I have to give the seller more than 5 stars for packing - it was unbelievable how well it was prepped for shipping. Now if could only find the matching stool...
