Lovely Danish Modern sofa rocking charm. This chair is in good vintage used condition. It is comfortable and rocks smoothly and swivels easily all the way around 360 degrees. The fabric is a mauve looped mohair type heavy duty upholstery fabric with a pretty imprinted paisely design. Low to the ground in the traditional Mid Century style this chair is both stylish and functional. No rips, tairs or foul odor in the fabric. The fabric has fading throughout. The wood is in good condition. One of the gold pieces has been replaced on the left bottom side within the arms. Fabric and finishes have normal wear from age and use. Four wood pencil shape legs underneath with metal end caps brass in color. The chair is structurally sound. The frame and legs built to last with heavy construction and flat spring layout underneath the seat. The large spring rocking mechanism is hidden at the top of the legs. The chair measures overall 25 1/2" W x 21" D x 30 3/4" T. The top of the seat is 16" from the floor. It will be disassembled for safe and economical shipping with instructions to reassemble.
