They are a beautiful set of ceramic book ends painted dark brown and gold. They are hollow in the middle and have a weighted sand that you can hear inside when you shake them. They are in their original as found condition, showing some wear to their finish (see pics for details), but are in very good vintage used condition. No cracks or chips. There is a gold tab on one of the hands that we did not peel off. (See pics for details) They have the original felt and stickers on the bottom that read Fine Quality Lego JAPAN. They would compliment almost any decor. Great for book shelves and seem like the perfect size to be a decorative element for your coffee table, side table or desk.
